Lauren Schrader, CMCA, AMS

Owner

Lauren Schrader (lauren@hausfs.com) started HausFS in 2007. She discovered the need for an alternative to traditional property management while owning condos in small buildings that struggled to find reliable, cost-effective support. HausFS has remained dedicated to filling the hole between self-management and full-service management specifically for small buildings ever since.

Lauren holds a Bachelors of Science in Speech (Radio/TV/Film Major) from Northwestern University. She spent 9 years as a Firm Administrator at a small CPA firm after graduation, where she developed her accounting expertise, technical skills and small business acumen.

Lauren is a condo management expert with strong legal experience. She particularly prides herself on her ability to approach problems from a “full picture” perspective, resulting in creative solutions to financial problems for her clients.

Lauren loves to spend time with her two children, see live music and enjoy great restaurants all over Chicago. She’s been sky-diving and has taken trapeze lessons. As a 6th grader in New Jersey, Lauren appeared on the game show Double Dare and was thisclose to going to Space Camp!
